Washing and moisture protection of printed components

Moisture-proof coating application is carried out with lacquers based on urethane, acrylic and epoxy resins both by traditional manual (brush) method and by aerosol spraying in a water paint chamber, depending on the customer's requirements.

However, to achieve good lacquer adhesion and to prevent negative effects of flux residues on the reliability of printed components, it is necessary to degrease and clean the surface thoroughly . For this purpose a washing liquid based on organic solvents, which perfectly removes both polar and non-polar contamination is used. Washing is carried out in specialized baths using ultrasound if necessary. The final stage of cleaning is rinsing in deionized water, by which a high degree of cleaning is achieved, giving high quality of the subsequent moisture-proof coating.
